Adeena Gardner
I have a bachelor's degree in fine arts and a master's in teaching and have been teaching in the arts and digital photography for over 15 years. I am passionate about teaching and learning, and connecting interests and explorations to real life opportunities. I live in Olympia with my family and in my free time I take photos for myself and others, volunteer, garden, and generally get outside and explore as much as possible!

I'm the Video Game and Computer Science teacher. I've taught at every single level of education. From Elementary School to College, but I found my home here at ISWA. I have a bachelors degree in History from Central Washington University and received my Masters in Education from the University of Phoenix. Even though history was my original passion to become a teacher, my real talent has always been in computers.

I have been teaching computer literacy and computer sciences courses at Insight School of Washington since March 2022. My background includes 13 years as an IT director/systems administrator, as well as teaching computer literacy, media, math, and English. I hold a master’s degree in Educational Technology from Walla Walla University. I live in Kennewick, WA with my wife Cindy and 4 amazing kids.

Currently I am the Business High School CTE Teacher for ISWA. Previously I was a Branch Manager for Wells Fargo Bank NA, in Leavenworth, WA. I have over 12yrs of management and banking experience. When Wells Fargo Bank NA downsized, and closed my branch location, I chose a career change into education.
